Sean Kerr is the founder and Managing Director of Kerr Business Consulting.

Sean has a passion for delivering sustainable and profitable growth and the track record to demonstrate it.


Sean has extensive experience as a senior executive and board member within a series of businesses across a diverse range of end markets.   He has a balanced exposure to both private equity and plc businesses in periods of high growth as well as cost control/reduction and efficiency and has led several successful acquisitions / integrations, start-ups and outsourcing deals.

Prior to setting up Kerr Business Consulting, he was responsible for a diverse and complex business that provided thousands of service types from up to 59 sites to customers in multiple market sectors in 13 countries. In this role, he was responsible for up to £120m sales and 1800 people. He has created, shaped and led successful teams that have delivered sustained superior business performance through combined organic and acquisitive growth of up to 100%+ per annum, including building a market leading business in the Middle East and Asia.  During 2012, he led a successful exit event to the private equity sector, achieving an excellent EBITDA multiple.

Services

Highly customer, quality and results focused with significant international experience, particularly throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia.  He has spent most of his career in the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector serving a wide range of international end markets such as Oil & Gas, Aerospace, General Engineering, Food, Environmental, Pharmaceuticals, Calibration, Fire Safety, Utilities and Construction.

A qualified metallurgist and a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, Sean has completed the renowned Executive Development Programme at the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA
